Meet the ARKrights team
Mandeep Gill
Mr Mandeep Singh Gill is the Principal Solicitor at ARKrights. Mandeep has over
15 year experience and has enjoyed seeing the growth and development of
ARKrights over recent years.
Mandeep is a tenacious litigator and has the benefit of past experience at some
of London’s magic circle firms, combined with the invaluable experience of
having experienced work in the UK’s Government Legal Service and the European
Commission’s Legal Departments.
Mandeep can ably advise on most areas of law but has a particular interest in
Employment law, an interest which is re-inforced by its European Union law bias.
Mandeep’s particular interests are employment law, commercial law, housing law
and general commercial and civil litigation. Mandeep has experience of having
dealt with many cases to High Court level and beyond; and is currently enjoying
working on similar matters.
Lucy Fox
Lucy Fox, solicitor and authorised litigator has been with ARKrights since late
2011. Lucy is a talented and committed housing lawyer and civil litigation
specialist. Lucy is deeply committed to fighting her client’s corner and has the
accolade of having had the benefit of working on many reported cases.

Lucy is also currently working alongside
Mandeep Gill, on the case of Dacorum BC v Michael Sims
[2013] EWCA Civ 12 – a case which raises
novel issues of law, and housing human rights law. All of these cases raised
important and novel issues of housing law.
Karim Assaad
Karim Assaad, solicitor and authorised litigator and has been with ARKrights
since the summer of 2012. Karim currently heads the family law department at
ARKrights. Karim is a specialist family and immigration lawyer. Karim holds a
particular niche in the specialist area of finance and children act proceedings,
and maintains an ongoing and broad knowledge base in all aspects of family law,
including urgent injunction applications.
Karim also holds a talented grasp of UK Immigration law, and is familiar with
all aspects of UK Immigration law. Karim has previously been involved in
Immigration proceedings at all levels of the Immigration Tribunal and the higher
appellate Courts. Karim also has the individual notoriety of having had to deal

Sandip Grewal
Sandip Grewal, solicitor, authorised litigator, higher court rights advocate,
and mother of one, works in ARKrights family law department. Sandip is a
tenacious and committed lawyer and has dedicated herself to becoming a
specialist family law solicitor, though has previous experience in the areas of
housing law and civil litigation. Sandip is currently on maternity leave but is
finger tip familiar with all aspects of family law, including divorce, finance
proceedings, children proceedings and injunctions. Sandip also regularly
represents parents in care proceedings
Shelly Ali
Shelly joined ARKright in 2009 to bolster and further develop ARKrights’ family
law department, and has done just that. Shelly is a qualified solicitor and has
advised and can advise on the full range of family law issues. Shelly is an extremely
determined, resourceful yet empathetic solicitor.
Mark Swann
Harpreet Sihra
Harpreet is a trainee solicitor at ARKrights Solicitors. Harpreet has the
benefit of previous experience at a large London Firm of solicitors. Harpreet is
a committed team player and currently works in the family law department at
ARKrights. Harpreet has experience in all areas of housing law. Harpreet is a
natural civil litigator and has previous experience in the field of Immigration
law.
Sian Webb
Sian is a trainee solicitor at ARKrights Solicitors. Sian has the benefit of
many previous years experience of family law at a local Hertfordshire firm,
prior to joining ARKrights. Sian currently works in the family law department at
ARKrights, and will soon move into the housing and civil litigation department.
Sian is a fantastically organised and gifted individual and relishes the
opportunity to assist her clients to the best of her abilities.
Krishna Gill
Krishna is a qualified CIMA Accountant, and mother of two. Krishna has previous
experience in working in the finance departments of many of the UK’s leading
blue chip companies, reporting to Financial Directors and has experience of
regularly managing teams of 30 or more employees. Krishna has overseen the
growth and development of ARKrights in recent years, and has been instrumental
in establishing ARKrights presence, as a leading provider of specialist services
in the Hertfordshire area. Krishna is also the appointed COFA for ARKrights.
Syed Abedin
Syed is our retained billing administrator. He assists Krishna Gill with the efficient
running of the business side of the Firm.
