Meet the ARKrights team.
Mandeep Gill
Mandeep is the Principal of ARKrights. He has over 8 years experience as a Solicitor, and is hoping (having established ARKrights and set it upon its current course) to be able to complete his Solicitor Advocate exams. Mandeep can advise on most areas of law, but retains a particular interest in Employment law, especially with its current European Union law bias. Mandeep has worked at the European Commission in Brussels, and at the leading firms in the City of London.
From his vast array of personal and professional experience, he hopes he has been able to distill all his positive experiences, and instill those very same principles in to the staff, workings and ethos of ARKrights.
Dawn Casterton
Dawn is ARKright’s retained consultant for all family law disputes. Dawn has in excess of 15 years experience dealing exclusively with all aspects of family law. Dawn is also an accredited member of the Children Panel, and is a specialist in Care work. Dawn’s particular area of interest is in Ancillary Relief proceedings.
Shelly Ali
Shelly is ARKright’s newest recruit and is with ARKrights to bolster and further develop ARKright’s family law department. Shelly is a qualified solicitor and has advised and can advise on the full range of family law issues. Shelly is an extremely determined, resourceful yet empathetic solicitor.
David Vernon
David Vernon is ARKright’s junior solicitor and is a keen advocate, undertaking his own interim applications and if appropriate his own Trials and or Tribunal hearings. David can and regularly does advise on all aspects of employment and property related matters, (including commercial leases). David is also a keen litigator, regularly undertaking work in both the County Court and the High Court. David’s particular penchant is bringing and defending contract and debt related proceedings.
Zara Ilyas
Zara Ilyas is ARKright’s current trainee solicitor. Zara is known for her direct but personable manner. Zara advises and assists on all matters within ARKright’s broad range of services (although especially in ARKright’s housing department) and is committed to seeking the best for her clients at all times.
Aarti Shah
Aarti is ARKright’s classic lawyer. She holds a classics degree from the University of Warwick, and seeks to now direct all her thoughts into direct and positive action, by assisting all fee earners in all of ARKright’s practice areas.
Krishna Gill
Krishna Gill may be described as the financial whizz whose emphasis on efficiency and swift response, help transform ARKrights from a firm with traditional values into a firm with traditional values and a modern business approach.
Krishna is a qualified management accountant, and has held senior financial positions in many of the UK’s largest PLCs.
Phillipa Walker
Philippa is quite literally the epitome of all things efficient. She is also generally speaking any person’s first point of contact with ARKrights. Philippa is responsible for all call answering and initial client inquiries. Philippa hopes to develop her career in law in the coming years.
Ibrahim Ali
Ali as he is (affectionately) known to all at ARKrights is our retained billing administrator. He assists Krishna Gill with the efficient running of the business side of the Firm.
